Old School Pickup Shipping Policy

Location:

Based in Australia, Old School Pickup currently ships nation wide only. We may choose to include international shipping at a later date, however there are no plans as of late.

POBox:

We suggest you use a physical address instead of a POBox address to ensure smooth delivery.

Costs:

All our items come with free standard shipping. Some of our products come individually packaged depending on their type, so you may receive them separately.

Carriers:

Australia Post is our preferred carrier. At checkout, you will only see the available shipping options for that particular area. For example, if Express shipping is unavailable for a specific destination, you will only see the Standard rate. Keep in mind that a phone number is required for Express delivery. If you chooses Express shipping, be sure to provide your phone number to avoid shipment holds.

Tracking:

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Delivery time:

EDT = Estimated delivery time. The average order fulfilment takes 2–5 business days. EDT are usually between 7-14 days after order fullfillment. This is just an estimate, not a guarantee. Here are some of the reasons why an order might arrive past its EDT:

Wrong address:

If the wrong address is entered at checkout, you can still change it while we fulfil your order. Once your order is out for delivery, we are unable to change any information. Please be sure to check your details when confirming purchases.

Lost packages:

For packages lost in transit, confirm your shipping address was correct. Then get in touch with your local post office to try and locate the lost order. If it can’t be located, then contact us.

Returned to sender:

There are a few reasons an order can be returned to sender but most often it is due to an undeliverable address. Other instances include the package being unclaimed or the wrong address provided and sent back. If the order arrives back to our facility you will be contacted to determine how you would like to proceed.

Marked as delivered, but not received:

Unfortunately, we can’t help if the carrier marked the package as delivered, but you haven’t received it. There’s no way for us to verify this claim, but not all is lost! There might be cases where the delivery person left the package at your address in an unexpected location. You should reach out to the carrier and ask for additional information about the shipment. For example: "Left under the table on the back porch."

What to do:

If your order’s estimated delivery time has passed, here’s what you do:

  1. On the order confirmation, check the address you provided is correct.
  2. Contact the carrier to confirm if the package is being held by them or if they have additional information about where the package was placed when delivered.
  3. If they do not have any information about your package wait one more week, then contact them again. Unfortunately, shipments can get delayed for reasons we can’t predict. We understand it’s frustrating to deal with late shipments, but please remember that our estimated delivery time is just an estimate, not a guarantee.
  4. Finally, get in touch with our customer support team. Let us know about your delayed shipment, and we’ll check the latest delivery updates. We may ask you to wait a few more days to receive the order. You can send an email to admin@oldschoolpickup.com.

If you still haven’t received the package or any news about your shipment after completing the steps mentioned above, contact us again to discuss the matter, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
